The Museum of Neon Art (MONA) aims to create awareness for historic neon sign preservation and showcase the electrifying contemporary art form. This re-brand main focus was to brand MONA as a fun, welcoming place for families to come to learn, spend time together and socialize with the community. The overall brand and brand experience was redesigned to embody the excitement of the neon art as well as the science behind it. A new brand mark was created pulling inspiration from the periodic table and neon signs. A website and information and way finding brochure was designed to enhance users experience. A MONA café menu was created and designed to be easy to read for all ages and accommodates multiple dietary restrictions. All print and interactive aspects strictly follow the brand guidelines created by three design colleagues and myself. Together we are confident that this new MONA redesign will thrive as a place of fun, exhibition, preservation, education, and community.
